After triumphing over Morocco (1-0), Turkey (2-1) in the group stage, and today, Friday, August 28, 2026, defeating Italy in the semi-final with a convincing score of (3-1), Tunisia's U21 team has secured its spot in the final of the Mediterranean Games football tournament in Taranto, Italy.

The three goals for the national team were scored by Alaeddine Derbali, Rayane Anane, and Walid Dhouib.

The players under Anis Boujelbene, bold and now capable of competing with any team regardless of their world ranking, are now aiming for the gold medal against Algeria or Morocco, and deserve a place in the upcoming Olympic Games in Los Angeles, scheduled from July 14 to 30, 2028.

This beautiful journey deserves to be carried through to help us forget the disappointments suffered by the senior team during the last World Cup.
