Ex-Kotoko player Jordan Opoku has joined Port City FC as an assistant coach.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder and WAFA SC assistant coach Jordan Opoku has signed on with newly promoted Ghana Premier League club Port City FC as their new assistant coach. The seasoned strategist will act as the right-hand man to head coach Christopher Ennin, who was appointed earlier this month. Opoku's inclusion bolsters the technical team as Port City readies for their inaugural top-flight season. Having previously served as an assistant coach for WAFA SC in the Ghana Premier League, Opoku brings a wealth of coaching experience to the newly promoted club. His playing career included a stint at Asante Kotoko before he shifted to coaching. The 42-year-old will be charged with aiding Port City in establishing their presence in the Ghana Premier League following their ascent from Division One. Currently, Port City is engaged in pre-season training as they prepare for their first-ever venture in Ghana's elite league.
