Hearts of Oak are seeking a manager who will instill a 'hunger for goals' in the players, according to Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe.

Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe indicated that the board was dissatisfied with the team's overall performance under Dramani, particularly highlighting their inability to finish chances in the offensive third. In an interview with Akoma FM, the seasoned football administrator stated that Hearts is already in the process of selecting a new coach who can foster a more aggressive attacking approach within the team. The Board of Directors has decided to part ways with the former coach and is making arrangements for a new appointment. We are looking for a coach who will instill a desire for goals in the players. Many of our so-called victories were narrow. Moreover, aside from that, we either drew or lost, the Hearts of Oak board member remarked. Hearts of Oak secured a third-place finish in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season under Dramani, mirroring their third-place achievement from the prior season. Although they remained competitive among the league's elite, the club ultimately did not succeed in mounting a serious title challenge. Consequently, the board is looking for a fresh direction as they prepare for the 2026/27 season.
