Manchester United's latest acquisition, Andrey Santos, has expressed his eagerness to collaborate with his new teammates following his £50 million transfer from Chelsea to the Red Devils.
The 22-year-old has signed a contract with United lasting until June 2031, with an option for an additional year, after the club agreed to pay an initial £48 million plus £2 million in performance-related bonuses. Chelsea will also maintain a 10 percent sell-on clause.

The ex-Chelsea midfielder also shared his enthusiasm for working under Carrick, whom he regards as the ideal mentor for his development.
He emphasized that he joined the club with the goal of securing the most prestigious trophies.

Santos made the move to Chelsea from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in 2023, and subsequent loan stints at Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg significantly aided his growth.
Upon returning to Stamford Bridge, he secured a regular spot in Chelsea’s midfield during the 2025/26 season, appearing 43 times across all competitions as the Blues enjoyed their strongest run of the season and claimed the FIFA Club World Cup.
