Fouzi Lekjaa, a member of the political bureau of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, announced that Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane will host the final match of the 2030 World Cup, expressing hope that the Moroccan national team will be part of that final.
During his remarks in Bouznika, Lekjaa noted that the selection of Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane is an honor for the region, explaining that the decision came under the guidance of King Mohammed VI, and he considered it a testament to the significant attention this area receives.
Lekjaa emphasized that the World Cup final will take place in Benslimane, responding to speculation about the stadium that will host the final. He mentioned that he is following what is being published in the Spanish newspaper "Marca" on this topic, reiterating his confirmation that Hassan II Stadium will host the match, expressing hope that the Moroccan national team will reach the final.
Lekjaa discussed his achievements in football, affirming that his actions were driven by loyalty to the nation, and he does not consider himself to have fully completed his duty, recalling his feelings after the Moroccan national team's loss to France, noting that the ambition at that time was to reach the final match.
Regarding the organization of the 2030 World Cup, Lekjaa confirmed that the tournament belongs to all Moroccans, and that the responsibility for its success and the benefits it brings falls on everyone, expressing hope that the tournament will be an opportunity for Moroccan fans to enjoy the matches.
Lekjaa also addressed several local issues in the Benslimane region, including housing and resettlement matters, indicating his awareness of the challenges at hand, and affirming his intention to study these files and follow up on them without any electoral considerations.
Lekjaa clarified that addressing housing issues should not be linked to voting or electoral entitlements, affirming that he will handle the files presented to him as if they were personally his own, and that he will begin following them up before the elections.
Regarding the residents involved in resettlement programs, particularly in Mansouria and some nearby areas, Lekjaa confirmed that the relocation of any family from their residence should lead to better housing conditions, indicating his intention to follow up on this file and work to ensure the stability of the affected residents.
