Manchester City Coach Praises Bouaddi
Enzo Maresca, the head coach of Manchester City, expressed his admiration for the technical and personal qualities of young Moroccan international Ayyoub Bouaddi, stating that the player has made a strong impression since joining the club, thanks to his behavior and noticeable maturity.
The Italian coach noted that despite being only 18 years old, Bouaddi acts with the mentality of a more experienced player, adding that speaking with him makes you forget his actual age, given his personality and way of thinking that suggest he is in his mid-twenties.
Maresca told Sky Sports that the Moroccan player possesses all the attributes needed to become one of the standout players in Manchester City's history, emphasizing that his significant abilities make him a potential star capable of leaving his mark with the team in the coming years.
In the same context, the City coach urged to handle Bouaddi with a degree of calm and not rush his development, stressing that the most important thing at this stage is to provide the right conditions for him to grow, without placing responsibilities or pressures that exceed what a player at the start of his career needs.
Maresca highlighted the need to manage Bouaddi's participation carefully, whether in terms of the number of matches, minutes played, or the roles assigned to him, considering that protecting the young player from increasing pressures will be a crucial step to ensure his natural development towards reaching the highest levels.
Manchester City had signed Ayyoub Bouaddi from French club Lille during the last summer transfer window for a fee of €100 million, and the "Atlas Lion" has caught attention in his early matches with his new team, showcasing great confidence and impressive football performance.
