Ikorodu City midfielder Aderemi Adeoye is poised to join Sky Bet Championship side Middlesbrough, as reported by Completesports.com.
As per reports, Adeoye is presently undergoing a trial with Middlesbrough in hopes of facilitating a summer transfer to England.
The 19-year-old is currently valued at €50,000 according to Transfermarkt, but Ikorodu City is anticipated to request a significantly higher transfer fee before permitting his departure.
A transfer to Middlesbrough would represent a significant milestone in the young player's career and further underscore the increasing recognition of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, as a nurturing ground for rising talent.
