OGC Nice's sporting director Roger Ricort has indicated that Terem Moffi is anticipated to depart the Ligue 1 team on a permanent basis this summer, as reported by Completesports.com.
Moffi played the latter half of last season on loan at Portuguese champions FC Porto after losing his spot in the lineup at Nice.
The Nigerian forward sought a change of scenery after an incident last November when he and teammate Jeremie Boga faced hostility from fans following a loss to Lorient.
Boga later secured a loan transfer to Serie A powerhouse Juventus in January, with the Italian side subsequently making the move permanent.
However, Porto opted not to exercise the €8 million purchase clause in Moffi’s loan contract, leading to the striker's return to Nice.

Despite the ambiguity surrounding his future, the 27-year-old rejoined pre-season training with the team on Wednesday.
Nice Set to Move On From Moffi
Ricort has now disclosed that Nice are preparing for Moffi’s exit and anticipate that the Nigerian forward will finalize a permanent transfer before the end of the summer transfer window.
“He is on the list of players we are looking to move. He will definitely be transferred elsewhere,” Ricort was quoted as saying by GFFN.
“We might not respect the individual, but we will honor the player. At this point, he understands that he will no longer be playing for Nice either.
” I believe that would disrespect our supporters, but while he remains with us, we will strive to conduct ourselves properly with him and his representatives. When he secures a new club, we will part ways amicably and wish each other well.”
