Portuguese club Sporting Braga has secured the signing of Nigerian defender Adebisi Olamikun from Inter Lagos, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Inter Lagos announced the transfer via their official X account on Sunday.
Reports indicate that Olamikun has joined Sporting Braga on a long-term agreement estimated at €50,000.
The 18-year-old has already made his way to Portugal and will begin integrating into the youth system of the club, with hopes of advancing to the first team.
As noted by Transfermarkt, Olamikun is the eighth Nigerian player to join Sporting Braga, with former players including AFCON 2013 champion Elderson Echiejile.
Founded on January 19, 1921, Braga is affectionately known as Braguistas, and Os Arsenalistas (The Arsenalists) due to their kit color resembling that of English club Arsenal.
Since 2003, Braga has hosted their home games at the Estádio Municipal de Braga, which took over from Estádio 1º de Maio, currently utilized by the club's reserve squad.

In the 2000s, Braga emerged as one of Portugal's most successful clubs and made significant strides in European tournaments, winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2008 (the only Portuguese team to achieve this) and reaching the UEFA Europa League final in 2011.
Domestically, they have claimed an additional seven trophies: three Portuguese Cups in 1966, 2016, and 2021, along with three Portuguese League Cups in 2013, 2020, and 2024.
The club made history by qualifying for the 2010–11 UEFA Champions League, reaching the tournament for the first time after overcoming Celtic and Sevilla, following a second-place finish in the 2009–10 Primeira Liga season.
