Nigeria’s Super Falcons are set to kick off their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with the launch of their training camp in Casablanca today, as reported by Completesports.com.
Last Friday, head coach Justine Madugu announced a 25-member roster for Nigeria’s title defense, with all selected players expected to arrive at the camp today.
The nine-time African champions will utilize the Casablanca camp to sharpen their readiness before heading to Rabat, where they will compete in their Group C matches.
Madugu's squad will aim to clinch a record-breaking 11th WAFCON title during the tournament in Morocco.

The Super Falcons have been placed in Group C alongside first-timers Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt.
The West Africans will kick off their campaign against the Scorchers of Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat on Tuesday, August 28.
Their second group match will be against the Copper Queens of Zambia, also at Al Madina on Saturday, August 1.
Nigeria will face Egypt in their final group encounter at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Wednesday, August 5.
The WAFCON 2026 will also act as the African qualifying event for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, with the top four teams securing automatic spots in the prestigious tournament.
