The Egyptian youth handball team arrived in Cairo on Monday after winning the Africa Championship by defeating Tunisia 31-29 in the final held in Ivory Coast.
The team reached the final after a convincing 37-10 victory over Angola in the semifinals.
The youth team advanced to the semifinals by beating Libya 40-15 in the quarterfinals of the Africa Championship.
The team achieved a series of consecutive wins, starting with a 38-15 victory against the Democratic Republic of the Congo, followed by a 42-19 win over Congo Brazzaville, and finally defeating Cameroon 30-18.
