Nigeria’s Flamingos are set to compete against Poland, Puerto Rico, and Korea DPR in Group B at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, as reported by Completesports.com.
Akeem Busari’s team secured their spot in the tournament following an aggregate victory of 8-5 over the Young Amazons of Benin.
The Flamingos achieved a 3-2 win in the first leg at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, and they finished strong with a notable 5-3 victory in the return match held in Lomé on Saturday.
The West African squad will kick off their campaign against Poland in their first match at the Women’s Football Complex (Pitch 4) in Rabat on Saturday, 17 October.
Nigeria’s second match versus Puerto Rico is scheduled to take place at the Women’s Football Complex (Pitch 4), Rabat on Tuesday, 20 October.
The Flamingos will conclude their group stage journey against two-time champions Korea DPR at the Women’s Football Complex (Pitch 1), Rabat on Friday, 23 October.
The tenth edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup is set to unfold in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
