The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has designated Ugandan referee Shamirah Nabadda as the central official for the upcoming second leg of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying round between Benin Republic and Nigeria’s Flamingos, scheduled for Saturday.
Malian referee Fanta Idrissa Kone will serve as the first assistant, while Burundi's Fides Bangurambona has been appointed as the second assistant referee.
Another Ugandan, Josephine Nantongo, will take on the role of reserve referee for this match.

CAF has also named Aissata Ameyo from Togo as the match commissioner, with Fatou Gaye of Senegal acting as the referee assessor.
The Flamingos approach this crucial matchup with a narrow 3-2 lead from the first leg, which took place last weekend at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.
Akeem Busari’s squad arrived in Lomé on Friday and have finalized their preparations for this important clash.
The aggregate winner will secure a spot in the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, set to take place in Morocco later this year.
