UEFA Champions League: Paris Saint-Germain secures a resounding 6-0 victory over Bratislava.

Paris Saint-Germain began their title defense in the UEFA Champions League with a crushing 6-1 victory over Slován Bratislava on Wednesday in the opening round of the tournament.

Spanish forward Ferran Torres shone with a hat-trick, scoring in the 31st, 47th, and 57th minutes, while Ousmane Dembélé netted two goals in the 17th and 23rd minutes, before Fabián Ruiz capped off the scoring in the 87th minute.

Suleiman Kamara scored the only goal for Slován Bratislava in the 58th minute.

Dembélé opens the scoring

PSG dominated from the start, with Dembélé opening the scoring in the 17th minute, following up on a shot that rebounded off the crossbar from Nuno Mendes.

Dembélé added a second goal with a header just minutes later, before Torres extended the Parisian lead with a third goal in the 31st minute.

At the start of the second half, PSG continued to apply pressure, and Torres scored his second and the team's fourth goal in the 47th minute, before completing his hat-trick in the 57th minute.

Just a minute later, Kamara managed to score Slován's only goal with a powerful shot.

Three minutes before the end of the match, Fabián Ruiz completed the champions' six-goal tally with a left-footed shot, confirming a strong start for the French team in the tournament.

Manchester City next challenge

Paris Saint-Germain will face a tough test in the next round when they visit English side Manchester City, while Slován Bratislava will meet German club Stuttgart.

With this victory, the defending champions send an early message to their rivals, having opened their European campaign with a significant win and impressive attacking performance.
