Filippo Antonelli, the sporting director of Venezia, has confirmed that discussions regarding the acquisition of Sevilla striker Akor Adams are at a highly progressed stage, according to Completesports.com.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano noted on Saturday that Venezia and Sevilla have come to terms on a €16 million agreement for the Nigerian forward.
Antonelli Discusses Adams Transfer
Antonelli noted that the transfer is nearing completion but mentioned that a few minor details still require attention before the deal can be finalized.
“I assure you that I will provide all the details once everything is settled,” Antonelli stated to the media, as reported by Football Italia.

“The negotiations are at a very advanced stage, but some final aspects still need to be addressed.”
Adams transferred to Sevilla from Montpellier in France in January 2025 for a fee of €5.5 million.
The 26-year-old was the top scorer for Los Rojiblancos last season, netting 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 La Liga matches.
Venezia Strengthening Their Roster
Venezia clinched the Serie B title last season, ensuring their swift return to the Italian top division.
The Winged Lions have already bolstered their lineup ahead of the new season, acquiring Albion Rrahmani from Sparta Prague, Armel Bella-Kotchap from Hellas Verona, and Ale Gomes from Real Zaragoza, in addition to signing free agents Toma Basic and Thierry Correia.
