Serie A side Venezia has come to an agreement with Sevilla to acquire Super Eagles forward Akor Adams, as reported by Completesports.com.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano indicates that Sevilla will receive a transfer fee of €16 million for the Nigerian international.
The Spanish club had previously rejected earlier offers from Venezia, but the Serie A team returned with an enhanced bid that satisfied their demands.
Adams has already settled on personal terms, clearing the path for his transfer to Italy.
This agreement makes the skilled striker the most costly signing in the history of Venezia.
The 26-year-old netted 10 goals and provided three assists in 32 league matches for Sevilla last season.

Adams Prepared For New Chapter
Adams joined Sevilla from French club Montpellier in January 2025 for a reported fee of €5 million.
The former Lillestrøm forward faced a challenging first half of the year at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán due to injuries, making only four league appearances without finding the back of the net.
He received his first call-up to the Super Eagles during the latter part of last season for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin, making an impactful debut by scoring after coming off the bench against Lesotho.
The striker was also part of the Super Eagles team that secured the bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco.
Venezia's Return To Serie A
Venezia achieved promotion to Serie A last season, finishing first in Serie B and claiming the second-tier title for the third time in their history.
The Winged Lions are anticipated to bolster their roster with additional quality signings as they strive to maintain their Serie A status in the upcoming season.
