Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected an inquiry from Serie A side Fiorentina regarding Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare, as reported by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano also mentioned that Turkish Super Lig team Trabzonspor has made an offer for the striker, but the player has shown no interest in joining the Black Sea Storm.
“Understand Fiorentina had a proposal turned down by Wolves for striker Tolu Arokodare. Trabzonspor also made a proposal but the player is not keen on the move,” Romano posted on X.
Wolves Seek High Fee For Arokodare
Wolves are said to value the Super Eagles forward at over €20 million and are not prepared to allow his exit unless their asking price is satisfied.

Arokodare has garnered attention from various clubs this summer following Wolves’ relegation from the Premier League, with Fiorentina now appearing as one of the latest teams to challenge the Championship club’s determination.
Challenges In England
The 25-year-old signed with Wolves from Belgian Pro League team KRC Genk last summer on a four-year deal, with the club having the option for an additional year, in a transaction valued at £23.4 million.
The imposing striker joined Molineux after an impressive season with Genk, where he proved to be one of Belgium's top forwards.
However, he faced a challenging first season in England, finding it tough to reproduce that form as Wolves fought against relegation.
Arokodare netted three goals and contributed one assist in 33 Premier League matches for the Old Gold, with the majority of his appearances coming from the bench.
