Yacoubi Officially Begins His Role as President of CR Belouizdad
Mohamed Arabi Yacoubi officially began his role as president of the board of directors of CR Belouizdad on Tuesday evening, succeeding Mohamed Hakim Haj Rajem.
The handover ceremony took place at the team's headquarters at the "Abderrahmane Aouff - Baba Hamoud" center in Zeralda, just 24 hours after the club's owning company decided to appoint Yacoubi in place of Haj Rajem.
Members of the board, including Hafiz Stambouli and new members Abdel Nour Kawa and Ali Abdel Rahim, attended the ceremony.
After the handover, Haj Rajem bid farewell to the players and coaching staff. The new president, Mohamed Arabi Yacoubi, then addressed the players and coaching staff, urging them to continue working to honor the colors of Algeria's oldest club.
This marks the end of Haj Rajem's tenure with CR Belouizdad, during which the team achieved 5 titles, including 3 consecutive league championships and 2 Super Cups, as well as reaching the final of the Algerian Cup in 2024.
