New Algerian Coach for Niger National Team
The Niger Football Federation is set to hire an Algerian coach to lead the national team in the upcoming period, with an official announcement expected today, Friday.
In its promotional post for the new coach, the official page of the Niger Football Federation featured the Algerian flag, clearly indicating the identity of the anticipated coach.
The goal with the new appointment is to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027.
The new Algerian coach will begin his journey with the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the end of September, as Niger will kick off its campaign in Group A by hosting Lesotho on the 25th, followed by a match against the hosts on the 29th.
Additionally, the Niger national team will play a friendly match against the "Greens" on October 6 at the "Hussein Ait Ahmed" Stadium in Tizi Ouzou.
