Arsenal are keen on bringing back Dinos Mavropanos following the Greece international's relegation with West Ham.
Mavropanos, 28, has attracted interest from multiple clubs and could be included in a clearance sale at the London Stadium.
The defender is familiar to the Gunners, who acquired him from Greek side PAS Giannina for £1.8million in January 2018, marking one of Arsene Wenger’s last acquisitions.
During his initial two years at the Emirates, Mavropanos made only seven appearances for the first team and was loaned to German club Nurnberg to gain more playing time.
He then spent the next two seasons on loan at Stuttgart, which eventually signed him permanently in a deal that could reach £5m in the summer of 2023. However, a year later, he returned to the Premier League when West Ham invested £21m to secure his services.

Currently, Sky Sports (via Mirror) reports that Arsenal are contemplating a move to bring Mavropanos back. The Gunners have taken note of the 28-year-old’s development since departing the Emirates.
It’s important to mention that Arsenal already have a surplus of right-footed centre-backs, including William Saliba, Cristhian Mosquera, and Ben White. Nevertheless, White has been rumored to be leaving this summer after dropping in the hierarchy.
To bring Mavropanos back, Arsenal will need to counter interest from European clubs. Despite West Ham's relegation to the Championship on the last day of the season, he earned the club’s Player of the Year award due to a standout individual performance.
Mavropanos netted three goals during the crucial stretch, enhancing Nuno Espirito Santo’s team's odds of survival. However, West Ham ultimately fell short and will compete in the second tier next season for the first time since the 2011-12 campaign.
One of those goals came against Manchester City, which inadvertently bolstered Arsenal’s title aspirations before they clinched the Premier League trophy in May. After witnessing Mavropanos' goal, Arteta hailed him as a ‘very, very good character’.
