Moroccan international player Achraf Hakimi, right-back for Paris Saint-Germain, resumed individual training on the pitch today, Friday, as part of his recovery program from a right thigh injury, according to the French club.

Paris Saint-Germain stated in a medical report that "as part of his return-to-training plan, Achraf Hakimi is today performing individual exercises on the pitch."

Hakimi, who is 27 years old, left the pitch in the 39th minute of his team's match against Brest last Sunday during the fourth round of Ligue 1, before the club announced his minor right thigh injury and the need for treatment for a few days.

The status of Paris Saint-Germain regarding the participation of the Moroccan international in the upcoming match against Olympique Marseille on Sunday in the fifth round of the league has not yet been determined.

Hakimi's return to training comes a day after he was called up to the Moroccan national team in preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where the "Atlas Lions" will face Gabon on September 25, followed by Lesotho four days later, before meeting Ghana in a friendly match in Tangier on October 4.
