Moroccan young player Ayyoub Bouaddi, a star at Manchester City, received significant praise from English media following his impressive performance in the match where his team secured a resounding victory over Norwich City with a score of 5-0 on Thursday, in the Round of 32 of the EFL Cup.

English media reports focused on Bouaddi's performance, highlighting his clear brilliance in Manchester City's midfield, where he directly contributed to his team's second goal with a decisive assist for French player Rayan Cherki in the 32nd minute.

The website “Esteemed Kompany,” which specializes in Manchester City news, described Bouaddi as a “brilliant player,” noting that he was “above expectations” during the match, praising his ball skills and stating that he was “amazing in possession,” along with his good awareness of positioning when the opponent had the ball.

The same source also emphasized Bouaddi's ability to read the game and be in the right places, reflecting the positive impression he left during his encounter with Norwich City.

Meanwhile, “The Guardian” confirmed Bouaddi's role in the second goal after he received the ball from Floyd Samba before passing it to Rayan Cherki, who managed to get past the Norwich goalkeeper and score.

The website “101 Great Goals” also mentioned Bouaddi's assist that enabled Cherki to score the second goal, at a time when Manchester City was dominating the match and edging closer to qualification for the next round.

Floyd Samba opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 29th minute, before Rayan Cherki added the second goal three minutes later, following an assist from Bouaddi, and then Allan increased the home side's lead with a third goal in the 48th minute.

Samba returned to score his second goal and the fourth for his team in the 54th minute, before young player Rayan McAido capped off the goal fest in the 90th minute, ending the match with Manchester City winning 5-0.
