Yassir El Zabiri Continues to Find the Net in Spain
Barcelona continued its dominance over opponents both domestically and internationally with a resounding 7-2 victory over Racing Santander in the sixth round of La Liga on Wednesday evening.
Brazilian Rafinha, the star and captain of the team, shone with a hat-trick, including two penalties scored in the 25th, 42nd, and 67th minutes.
João Cancelo, Asier Villalibre, who scored an own goal, Gabriel Jesus, and Lamine Yamal added the remaining goals in the 8th, 36th, 79th, and 89th minutes.
Barcelona was not done there, as Yamal missed a penalty in the 45th minute, and the referee disallowed a goal from the promising Spanish player in the 72nd minute for offside.
Maguette Gueye and Yassir El Zabiri scored the visitors' goals in the 30th and 65th minutes in the match held at Spotify Camp Nou.
With this big win, Barcelona has scored 33 goals in 7 matches across all competitions, following their 5-1 victory over Dutch side Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League.
The Catalan team, the defending champions for the past two seasons, sits at the top of the table with 18 points, achieving a perfect record, three points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, while newly-promoted Santander remains at 7 points in 10th place.
