Algeria: "No questions arise," Hemdani comments on Aït-Nouri's situation.

The omission of Rayan Aït-Nouri from Brahim Hemdani's squad for the two matches against Togo has sparked reactions. During a press conference, the national coach chose to calm the situation without really going into the details of his decision.
When a journalist asked him if this absence was due to a strategy or another reason, Hemdani slightly dodged the question, preferring to highlight the options he has for the left-back position.
“There is no problem. Currently, we have only one left-back, Jaouen Hadjam, as well as Ramy Bensebaini who can play on the left. So, we have two players capable of playing in that position,” the coach stated, without directly addressing the reasons for the Citizen's absence.
This exclusion comes in a particular context. During the last gathering, Aït-Nouri was sent home from the camp following a controversy regarding his behavior during the match against Zambia (3-1). Several videos showed his frustration on the bench. Since then, his situation at Manchester City has not really changed, where he is rarely used and has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season. Although Hemdani claims there is no problem, his explanations nonetheless raise questions about the true reasons for this latest absence.
