In preparation for its participation in the World Cup and the FIFA U15 Festival 2026, which will take place from October 24 to 30 in Azerbaijan, the Algerian coach has selected 14 players for this trip.

The U15 national team began a training camp on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa. This camp will conclude on October 21, before the Algerian delegation departs for Baku.

National coach Karim Ziani, accompanied by his assistant Hocine Metref, has called up 14 players born in 2011 and 2012, including four from Paradou. According to the tournament format, matches will be played 8-a-side with 20-minute halves, on a reduced football field.

As a reminder, this competition, which represents the first edition, will bring together no fewer than 189 countries. The Algerian team will start on October 24 against Argentina, on the first day of the group stage.

The Greens are in Group B, alongside Argentina, Taiwan, Malawi, Oman, and Suriname. After playing their five group matches, Algeria will be placed in one of the six final brackets to compete in at least two knockout matches to determine their final ranking.
