The Algerian national under-17 team has won its first match in the friendly tournament taking place in Croatia, in preparation for the World Cup in this category.
The Greens defeated the Saudi team with a score of 2-0 on Saturday during the opening day of the international friendly tournament in Croatia (September 26 - October 5, 2026).
Following a crucial save by goalkeeper Guemdani early in the match, the Greens opened the scoring thanks to Zadig Bendiab with a low shot in the 39th minute, after an advance down the right wing.
In the second half, on a magnificent team play that started with a throw-in, the dynamic Mahdi Maghlout from Inter Milan broke down the right again before crossing to find Walid Nechab's header.
