Unless there are unexpected developments, the official announcement of his transfer should take place early in the afternoon. An agreement has been reached with Stade Rennais. OGC Nice and Stade Rennais FC have found common ground regarding the terms of the transaction. Both clubs have agreed to partially cover the player's salary for the duration of his contract.
However, no purchase option has been included in the agreement. The Breton club was asking for a fee close to €11 million to maintain a buy-back clause, an amount that the Aiglons were not willing to accept.
