Two changes have been made to the Mali Eagles squad for the upcoming international competitions. Initially selected by coach Anthony Da Silva, El Bilal Touré and Moussa Sylla will not participate.
Moussa Sylla, a forward for Schalke 04, has remained in Europe due to family circumstances. Meanwhile, El Bilal Touré, a player for Parma FC, declined the invitation for personal reasons.
To replace them, Anthony Da Silva has called up Sékou Koïta and Mamadou Doumbia. These two forwards will join the Malian squad just days before the start of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, with a match against Cape Verde scheduled for September 25 and an away game in Liberia on September 29.
