A report from the Spanish newspaper “Fichajes” confirms that English club Arsenal is preparing to make a €60 million offer to sign Moroccan international Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The same source indicated that Diaz, who is 27 years old, is open to leaving Real Madrid in January, given his limited appearances for the team since the start of the season, having played 5 official matches totaling 198 minutes and providing only one assist, which has left him out of the starting lineup considerations in attack.

The report added that Arsenal's management is looking to fulfill the wishes of coach Mikel Arteta, who wants to strengthen the left side of the attack and sees Brahim Diaz as a player capable of playing as a left winger, as well as potentially operating behind the striker.

The same source noted that Real Madrid's management, under coach José Mourinho, is open to the possibility of the Moroccan player's departure, especially since the financial return from the deal could help the Spanish club fund the signing of a midfielder with organizational and defensive qualities.

Arsenal is awaiting the start of official negotiations with Real Madrid in December, hoping to finalize the deal and secure Diaz at the start of the winter transfer window in January 2027, provided the royal club agrees to the proposed €60 million offer.
