Baha writes a new chapter in the history of FC Barcelona.

Moroccan forward Maisa Baha has etched her name into the history of FC Barcelona Women's team by scoring her first official goal for the first team at just 15 years, 8 months, and 10 days old, making her the youngest player to score for the team since it became officially affiliated with the Catalan club in 2002.

The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” highlighted this historic achievement, noting that Maisa scored the opening goal for Barcelona against Logroño, heading in a corner taken by Graham Hansen, surpassing the previous record held by her teammate Vicky Lopez, who was the youngest player to score for the first team.

This achievement reflects the confidence that coach Pere Romeo has in the young player, who participated in the preparation period for the current season and also managed to score in a friendly match against Montpellier.

With her technical skills, physical presence, and goal-scoring ability, Maisa is viewed as one of the talents that could shape the future of Barcelona's attack, as she is included in the first team's plans.

Maisa previously achieved another milestone by becoming the youngest player to participate with Barcelona's first team during the opening round of the Spanish Women's League against Tenerife, when she was 15 years, 7 months, and 14 days old, again surpassing Vicky Lopez's record.

Despite her exciting start with the first team, Maisa was unable to play in Barcelona's recent UEFA Women's Champions League match against Paris FC, as she watched the game from the stands due to regulations preventing her from participating before turning 16, meaning she will not be able to play in Champions League matches until January 16, 2027.

Born in Málaga, Maisa possesses notable physical strength and goal-scoring ability, and she currently resides in “La Masia” after joining Barcelona two years ago.

The Spanish newspaper noted that the player also carries a well-known surname in Moroccan football, as she is the daughter of former Moroccan international Nabil Baha, who played for several clubs in Spain, Portugal, and France, in addition to his experiences in Greece and China. Maisa is also the sister of Ziad Baha, a player for the U20 national team.
