Boudach and Bourbâa Named in Olympic Team Squad

Coach Rafiq Saïfi, responsible for the national U23 team, has called up 25 players for a training camp in preparation for friendly matches against South Africa.

The Olympic team is expected to begin its training camp tomorrow, Monday, and continue until October 5, which includes two friendly matches against South Africa on September 30 and October 3.

This September camp will be the fourth for coach Rafiq Saïfi since taking charge of the U23 team, following camps in April, May, and August 2026. Several prominent names from European football have been called up, including the standout duo from Ligue 1, Kyle Boudach of Lyon and Adil Bourbâa, the top scorer for Le Mans.

This camp will be crucial for Saïfi to finalize the squad for the second round of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027, scheduled from November 9 to 17, after the team was exempted from the first round.

Olympic Team Squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Yassir Zitouni, Anis Mokhtar, Zakaria Tard.

Defenders: Faïz Belkourai, Kylian Bzahif, Anis Fattahine, Anis Oznaqi Bilal, Yassine Chaïb, Gaitane Bakhouch, Issam Naïm Abdelhamid.

Midfielders: Abdelhak Ben Eider, Adil Bourbâa, Karim Boutra, Abdelwahab Sata, Salah Eddine Bouziani, Daryl Mathis Ben Lahlou, Mokrane Ben Tumi, Wissam Bousaid.
