The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will meet on Thursday, October 8, 2026, to examine the dispute between Morocco and Senegal regarding the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The hearing will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) is challenging the decision of the CAF Appeals Jury, which declared the Lions of Teranga forfeited and awarded the African champions title to Morocco.

The discussions will focus on the incidents that occurred during the final on January 18, which was interrupted after the Senegalese players left the field. CAF justified its decision by referring to Articles 82 and 84 of its regulations.

This hearing represents a significant step in this case. The CAS will now analyze the arguments presented by the various parties.
