DR Congo: Does FIFA support Aliou Faty in his dispute with TP Mazembe?

A new judicial development concerning TP Mazembe. According to information provided by the media outlet Sénégal 7, Senegalese goalkeeper Aliou Faty has reportedly won his case with international bodies in a financial dispute with the Lubumbashi club.

At the heart of this dispute, the last line of defense demanded the payment of an unpaid signing bonus amounting to 25,000 US dollars. A contractual disagreement that led the player to approach FIFA's dispute resolution chamber to defend his rights.

After reviewing the case, FIFA reportedly issued its decision in favor of Aliou Faty on September 7. The governing body of world football has thus ordered TP Mazembe to pay the full amount within a strict deadline of 45 days, under the threat of disciplinary sanctions.
