FC Copenhagen midfielder Ilyas Houira is attracting the attention of several top European clubs.
Due to the lack of a Danish passport, the 15-year-old talent is currently playing in Morocco and has just been selected for the national under-17 team. Tipsbladet reports this information.
This young midfielder is under contract with FC Copenhagen, but the interest he is generating extends well beyond Danish borders. According to Tipsbladet, Houira is being closely monitored by numerous prestigious European clubs.
The media outlet also indicates that several of them have traveled to England to observe him closely. According to Tipsbladet, Premier League giants such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are paying particular attention to the young talent from FCK, while Borussia Dortmund and Ajax are also keeping an eye on his development.
Additionally, several clubs in France and Spain have expressed their interest. The attention on Houira is not new. Even before his transfer from AGF to FC Copenhagen earlier this year, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, and FC Barcelona had already shown interest in this technically gifted midfielder.
However, FC Copenhagen managed to recruit him. Since his arrival, interest in this young talent has continued to grow. In March, on his fifteenth birthday, Houira signed a three-year contract with the Copenhagen club after leaving AGF during the winter break.
