After several weeks away from the pitch, Rayan Aït-Nouri continues to make headlines. A training session has quickly gone viral on social media.

Rayan Aït-Nouri is experiencing a unique period at Manchester City. Rarely used since the start of the season, the Algerian international has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League and has to settle for very limited playing time. His only official appearance came in the Champions League against FC Porto, where he played 16 minutes and provided an assist.

In training, however, the left-back seems to keep smiling and, above all, his technical skills. A widely shared video on social media shows City players practicing their shots. When it comes time to shoot, Aït-Nouri didn’t need much of a run-up to stand out.

Almost at a standstill, the Algerian unleashed a perfectly curled shot into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. It was a clean and spectacular move, quickly shared by many internet users, some of whom question his limited playing time given his skills with the ball.

Even without playing regularly, Aït-Nouri seems to have lost none of his technique. It remains to be seen when Enzo Maresca will choose to give him another chance in competition, as competition is fierce at Manchester City.
