France: Great news for Ben Idder with Nice!

Just arrived in France, Abdelhak Ben Idder has already had the chance to experience a particularly enriching first experience with his new club.

Abdelhak Ben Idder has officially begun his Nice journey on the training grounds. The 19-year-old Algerian defender, recently recruited from the Paradou Academy, participated in a training session with the professional team of OGC Nice, just a few days after his arrival in France.

His integration was initially planned with the reserve team, a logical step to allow the young player to gradually immerse himself in his new environment and adapt to the demands of French football. However, events took a different turn.

The numerous absences within the professional group prompted the Nice staff to call on Ben Idder earlier than expected. The young Algerian thus had the opportunity to train directly with the first team players and participate in a session alongside his compatriot Mohamed Amine Amoura.

This first appearance in training represents a key moment in the player's development, coming off a particularly impressive season with Paradou.

Ben Idder had established himself as a starter in the Algerian Ligue 1, which allowed him to catch the attention of various scouts and ultimately attract the interest of the Nice management.

The transfer, valued at around 300,000 euros, marks a new step in the defender's career, who has also been selected for various youth teams of the national selection up to the under-23 level.

Now, Ben Idder must make the most of this opportunity. Although his presence with the professionals does not yet guarantee a call-up for an official match, these initial sessions represent an ideal chance to stand out and gradually earn the trust of the coaching staff.
