Spain: Rebbach receives a prestigious award!

Abderrahman Rebbach had a memorable day in the colors of Deportivo Alavés. The Algerian international was celebrated by the Basque club, a recognition that crowns a journey built with patience since the beginning of his professional career.
The match against Valencia will remain a significant chapter in Abde Rebbach's history at Alavés. At 28 years old, the Algerian winger has officially reached the milestone of 100 matches played with the albiazul jersey. This is a symbolic number for a player who has evolved within the club's structure and has gradually established himself at the highest level.
Arriving in Spain at the age of 12, Rebbach spent a large part of his training in the Vitoria region, passing through several local clubs before continuing his development at Ibaia. His commitment was ultimately rewarded in 2022, when he joined the first team under the management of Luis García Plaza.
His first professional season was remarkable. With 22 appearances, three goals, and one assist in the second division, the Algerian played a key role in Alavés' promotion to the top flight. The following season, he continued to adapt to La Liga, with 23 matches played and one goal, before extending his contract until 2028.
However, his journey has not been without obstacles. Used less afterward, Rebbach was loaned to Granada during the 2024-2025 season. This stint in the second division allowed him to regain playing time and confidence, with 19 appearances, three goals, and two assists.
Back in Vitoria, the winger gradually regained a prominent role. His goal scored at Balaídos against Celta, during a spectacular 4-3 victory, was a decisive turning point. Since the arrival of Quique Sánchez Flores, Rebbach has become a key player on the left flank. The Madrid coach has trusted him, and the Algerian has been a starter in the first five matchdays of the league this season.
After being honored for his 100th match, Rebbach now boasts a record of 100 matches, 8 goals, and 9 assists with Alavés across all competitions. This is a special recognition for a player who arrived from Algeria during his childhood and has evolved to become one of the iconic faces of the Basque club.
