In demand over the summer after a very positive season and participation in the World Cup with the Greens, Farès Ghedjemis has had his confidence renewed by Frosinone with a new long-term contract.

Farès Ghedjemis has committed long-term to Frosinone. Highly sought after during the last transfer window, particularly by AS Monaco, the 24-year-old Algerian international extended his contract with the Italian club on Thursday. The winger is now tied to Frosinone until June 30, 2030, reflecting the trust placed in him by the club's management.

Last summer, Monaco had made a serious attempt to bring him back to France. A proposal nearing 10 million euros was discussed, but Frosinone chose not to sell. The Italian club was determined to retain one of the key contributors to their promotion to Serie A and is now better prepared to face any future attempts.

It is worth noting that Ghedjemis has just come off a particularly successful season. The former Rouen player played 38 matches across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 3 assists. These performances have allowed him to develop and become one of Frosinone's key assets.

This progress has also opened the doors to the Algerian national team, enabling him to participate in the 2026 World Cup with the Greens. At 24, Ghedjemis continues his ascent in Italy, now with a long-term contract and an enhanced status within a club aiming to build its project around him.
