Lakhdar Belloumi: "Hull City is a true football academy!" (video)
After Bachir Belloumi's first start with the Greens, his father Lakhdar expressed his pride and addressed the controversy surrounding his statements.
Present at the Hocine-Aït-Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou, Lakhdar Belloumi closely watched Algeria's victory over Zambia (3-1), marking Brahim Hemdani's first match in charge of the Greens. It was a memorable evening for the Algerian football legend, as his son, Bachir Belloumi, had the opportunity to make his first start with the national team.
Positioned from the start on the right wing, the Hull City player played 70 minutes before being substituted. I don’t know what to call them, it’s better to ignore them.” He added “Hull City is a football school, as Bachir's journey proves, he learned and grew there. How could I criticize them?”
