Martinez's brace secures a vital point for Inter against Roma
Lautaro Martínez scored two goals in the second half to lead Inter Milan to a 2-2 draw against Roma after trailing by two goals in a match held at the Olympic Stadium in the Italian capital on Saturday, as part of the Serie A.
This draw marked the first for both teams this season, bringing Roma's tally to 13 points from five matches, placing them at the top of the table on goal difference over Inter Milan, and one point ahead of Cagliari, who won 1-0 against Udinese thanks to a goal from Daniel Maldini.
In another match held today, Bologna faced Torino, ending in a 1-1 draw.
Manu Koné opened the scoring for Roma with a stunning right-footed shot in the 6th minute, then added a second with his left foot in the 37th minute, ending the first half with his team leading 2-0.
Inter started strong in the second half, with Martínez reducing the deficit in the 46th minute before scoring the equalizer in the 79th minute, securing a valuable point for his team after a thrilling comeback.
