Mercedes and Aston Martin face off in a charity football match: Check out the outcomes.

Mercedes directed its share of the donations to the children's hospice Helen & Douglas House, which assists families in managing the difficulties of caring for a terminally ill infant or child.

In the men's match, Mercedes triumphed with a score of 3-1, while Aston Martin secured victory in the women's match with a score of 2-1.

"It's a wonderful opportunity to unite both teams off the track," stated Imogen Tait, Mercedes F1 charity and community outreach lead, during an interview with BBC Radio Northampton.

"It's no surprise that many of us are extremely competitive, so what better way to bring our team members together?"

She further remarked: "It's crucial that we leverage our resources to give back and make a positive impact. This is just one avenue through which we can contribute to this community."

The match took place following the Spanish Grand Prix at the newly opened Madring circuit. Mercedes celebrated its 10th grand prix victory of the season, led by current championship leader Kimi Antonelli, while Aston Martin faced ongoing challenges, with Fernando Alonso finishing in 17th place and his teammate Lance Stroll retiring from the race.

Mercedes currently tops the constructors' standings with 503 points, followed by Ferrari at 358 points and McLaren with 306 points. Aston Martin has encountered difficulties throughout the season; despite introducing a B-spec car at the Hungarian Grand Prix and subsequent power unit upgrades, a significant improvement in performance has yet to materialize. They presently occupy 10th place in the standings with three points.
