Mostafa Shbeita continues to lead Wadi Degla in their match against Al Ittihad Alexandria.

Mustafa Shbita continues to lead Wadi Degla as the interim head coach, taking charge of the team for tomorrow's match against Ittihad Alexandria in the Cairo Capital Cup, despite the club's management nearing the conclusion of negotiations with French coach Alexandre Laffitte to take over the coaching duties for the upcoming period.

Wadi Degla's management has reached advanced stages in negotiations with Laffitte, who is considered the leading candidate to coach the team. However, a final agreement has yet to be reached, as discussions continue regarding some conditions set by the coach before signing the contracts and officially announcing the deal.

Mustafa Shbita Leads Degla Against Ittihad

Mustafa Shbita will continue to lead Wadi Degla during the match against Ittihad Alexandria in the Cairo Capital Cup, with the new coaching staff's status to be determined after the match and a final agreement with the French coach is reached.

Wadi Degla's management aims to finalize negotiations with Laffitte as soon as possible, especially since the coach has prior experience despite his young age of 29. He previously managed Stade Abidjan in Ivory Coast before moving on to a stint with Marumo Gallants in South Africa.

In his last experience with Marumo Gallants last season, Laffitte led the team in 24 matches, achieving 6 wins, 6 draws, and 12 losses. He has also worked in the youth sector at Paris Saint-Germain, giving him experience in handling and developing young players.

Wadi Degla's management hopes to finalize the remaining details with the French coach in the coming days, paving the way for him to officially take over the responsibilities, while Mustafa Shbita remains in charge of the team for the match against Ittihad Alexandria in the Cairo Capital Cup.
