Algeria's Mouloudia Renew Young Player Sata's Contract for an Extended Period
The management of Mouloudia Club of Algiers announced on Wednesday the official renewal of young player Abdel Wahab Sata's contract.
The midfielder, who will celebrate his 20th birthday on October 9, was originally set to see his contract expire in June 2027, but the management decided to extend it for an additional three years.
Sata is considered one of the promising talents for the future with "the Doyen," having recently won a gold medal at the 2026 Mediterranean Games in Taranto with the U21 national team.
He also received a call-up this September from the coach of the U23 national team, Rafik Saifi, in preparation for two friendly matches against South Africa, reflecting Sata's outstanding performances.
Following this move, Mouloudia's management is expected to continue renewing contracts for several players, especially key figures whose contracts expire in the summer of 2027, such as Mohamed Ben Khamassa, Ayoub Abdel Lawi, Zakaria Naijji, Abdel Kader Manzeela, and Reda Hlaimia.
