The Algerian internationals stood out during the seventh round of the Qatari league. Facing Al Ahli, Al Gharafa relied on Ismaël Bennacer, Adam Ounas, and Yacine Brahimi to make a difference in attack. Despite their contributions to both of their team's goals, the three players could not prevent a frustrating draw (2-2).

The match started at a cautious tempo until Al Gharafa took the lead thanks to a decisive first action involving Ismaël Bennacer. The Algerian midfielder delivered a precise corner kick, allowing Seydou Sano to open the scoring in the 13th minute. This was a significant first intervention for the former AC Milan player, who proved essential to his team's play.

Just minutes before halftime, the Algerians showcased their understanding once again. Adam Ounas shone by providing an assist to Yacine Brahimi, who finished the move in the 36th minute to score Al Gharafa's second goal. The former FC Porto player thus capitalized on his compatriot's work, allowing his team to take a two-goal lead.

With one assist each, Bennacer and Ounas, along with Brahimi's goal, all contributed directly to their team's achievements. This was a promising individual performance that seemed to put Al Gharafa on the path to success.

However, Al Ahli did not give up. Despite being two goals down, the opposing team found the necessary resources to equalize and secure a draw (2-2).

The three Algerians may therefore feel regret. Key in both goals scored by Al Gharafa, they delivered a notable offensive performance without managing to secure the victory for their team.
