France: Benlahlou scores his first professional goal! (video)

Algerian U23 international forward Daryll Benlahlou scored his first professional goal with Montpellier yesterday.
Arriving from Lyon this summer, the 20-year-old is a substitute in Zoumana Camara's setup at Montpellier in the French Ligue 2, but he comes on in nearly every match and is starting to make an impact.
Ten days ago, during the match against Grenoble, he was brought on in the 69th minute while his team was leading 1-0, and he managed to assist his teammate Mamadou Camara for the 2-0 goal in the 90th minute with a counter-attack from the left wing, despite being held by two opposing defenders.
Yesterday, in the match against Rodez, Montpellier, who started the season well, opened the scoring early in the second half, before Benlahlou came on in the 56th minute.
After a second goal for his team, he added the third in the 76th minute by stealing the ball from an opponent 25 meters out, driving into the box, and unleashing a superb curled shot that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
With this 3-0 victory, Montpellier remains in second place in the standings in Ligue 2, just behind Sohaib Naïr's Saint-Etienne. For Benlahlou, this marks his first goal of the season.
The left winger, selected by Rafik Saïfi for the Algeria U23 team since the beginning of 2026, was a starter in the recent friendly match against South Africa.
