The technical staff of Zamalek's first football team, led by Moataz Gamal, received a report from Dr. Mohamed Osama, head of the medical team, regarding the condition of injured players ahead of the match against Djibouti's AS Port in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Mohamed El-Sayed will be sidelined for up to 20 days after suffering a foot injury during the match against Abu Qir Fertilizers. The medical team confirmed that this injury is unrelated to a previous one the player sustained.
Amr Nasser, Zamalek's striker, is continuing his rehabilitation program and will need about 20 days before returning to full training, meaning he will miss the match against the Djiboutian champions.
Injury won't hinder Jihad's participation
On the other hand, Jihad's injury will not prevent him from participating in matches, as Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the team manager, explained that the player suffered a bruise in his pelvic bone, causing temporary pain, but it does not hinder him from playing.
Ahmed Fattouh ready for the Djibouti champions
Ahmed Fattouh had suffered a serious toe injury after battling a severe cold, and the team manager confirmed that the player will participate in training at full capacity, making him available for selection according to the coaching staff's assessment.
