After an impressive international career, the 33-year-old Cameroonian forward has joined Lekie FF, a team in the Guinness Super League, the highest level of women's football in Cameroon. Among her aspirations, she aims to participate in the CAF Women's Champions League with her new club and restore prestige to Cameroonian football.
“I have traveled the world, scored goals in some of the biggest stadiums, and proudly carried the flag of Cameroon. Today, the story resumes where it all began. I am returning to the Guinness Super League to help restore the greatness of Cameroonian football. Therefore, I chose Lékié Football Club without hesitation to take on this challenge,” said the former striker of Inter Milan.
Ajara Nchout began her international career in Russia in 2011 with FC Energiya Veronezh, then played for WFC Rossiyanka before returning to AS Police de Yaoundé between 2014 and 2015.
She established herself in Sweden in 2016, where she was named the best player of the season with Sundsvalls DDF. Subsequently, she moved to Norway, joining IL Sandviken and then Valerenga. After ending her contract with the Norwegian club, she signed with Spanish team Atlético de Madrid in January 2021, before joining Inter Milan for three seasons.
