As the UNIFFAC U20 zonal tournament approaches, the national coach of the DRC, Raoul Jean-Pierre Shungu, has revealed his official list of 25 players selected. The experienced Congolese coach relies on a squad composed of young talents playing both in the country and in specialized academies.
The stakes of this sub-regional event, scheduled from October 12 to 26, 2026, in Yaoundé, are crucial for Congolese youth. The young Leopards will enter the Cameroonian competition with the primary goal of securing one of the spots for the final phase of the next Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
Among the selected players are goalkeeper Ngambelo Kalunga Ismaël and midfielders Bwanondo Caleb and Makoko Bishweka Kévine from AS Vita Club, as well as young offensive talents like Masiala Muanda Jordy and Eboma Ferreira Winner. The team will soon depart for Cameroon to begin their final preparations ahead of the competition.
