They are the same age and arrived in the national team together, having made a thoughtful decision at just 18 years old. Amin Chiakha and Ibrahim Maza continue to show a strong bond!

Chiakha is six months older, but both are barely 20 years old. They have known each other for two years and seem like long-time friends, sharing many interests.

Maza played his first match with Algeria in October 2024, while Chiakha had to wait until November, but it was in March 2025 that they found themselves together in Sidi Moussa, where a beautiful connection began to form.

They entered the field together against Mozambique in the 84th minute of play in Tizi Ouzou, and it would take another year before they played together again against Guatemala, coming on in the 77th minute.

That will be all, as the two players will take different paths. While Maza shone in the eyes of the world with Bayer Leverkusen, quickly becoming a starter under Vladimir Petkovic, Amin Chiakha will face challenges with the Danish club Vejle, where he is on loan.

Although Chiakha will not participate in the AFCON or the World Cup, he has managed to regain his form in Norway with Rosenborg, scoring 14 goals since the beginning of the year. The two players, represented by the same agency, Stelaar, remain close and demonstrate this at every gathering.

Just yesterday, they were seen joking, each teasing the other's performance in training. Their joy for life and ease in expressing themselves in darja make them favorites among many supporters.
