Algeria U17: A real challenge against Croatia today!

The Algerian U17 national team, preparing for their participation in the World Cup, is set to face a real challenge today against Croatia.
After triumphing against Saudi Arabia (2-0) in their opening match of the friendly tournament in Croatia, the national U17 team will continue with a second match against the host country, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:30 AM, at the Branko Čavlović-Čavlek Stadium in Karlovac.
As the match approaches, the young players held their final training session on Monday morning, with all team members participating. The Croatian squad includes several players with senior experience, such as top scorer Jakov Dedeic, who plays for the reserve team of Hoffenheim (D3 Germany), as well as Safar Zuzik (Istra, D1 Croatia).
This match will be a significant test for the Greens against a high-level European team, as part of their preparation for the upcoming U17 World Cup, which will take place in November in Qatar.
After Croatia, the Algerians will face Hungary on October 2, also at 12:30 PM, before concluding with Qatar on October 5 at 3 PM. For reference, the World Cup is scheduled from November 18 to December 13, 2026, and our U17 team will be in Group J alongside the United States, Montenegro, and Chile.
